How long should a you stay at a job?
How long have you been there?
Have you been there 3-5 years?
How about 5-10?
How about over 20?
Have you ever thought to use the job as a vehicle to learn and earn for the sole purpose of developing you for your dream, to grow in technique and skill set ONLY to say "TaTa"?
While in school, between the ages of 15-18, society begins to groom many for the job market and they begin this grooming with the thought that the 4 year degree is a must in order to have success and get that "secure job".
Most get lost in that "security" and end up staying on a job for over 10 years, not because of the dream they started out with but the job seems "secure".
The only problem is that NO job is ever secure, NONE!
The wise thing to do is to use the job to learn and earn.
You see, you should only participate in a job for the shear purpose of practice; use it to learn your craft and when you are done then move on!
Stay at a job 2-3 years only and that's it but to do this you need to have your dream, vision and goals on paper!
When one works a job for too long then it's not about the learning and growing anymore with your dream in mind but about the "security" that seems real but is false, very false.
Staying at a job for 10 and 20 years you are not in charge of your time, freedom or $$$, because you made the exchange and folded your dream away and now your job owns you!
Your job owns you; so much that it dominates your thoughts, controls behavior, your time is not really yours because after sleeping 6-8 hours, you get up to prepare to be at your job, you then take the time in the travel then you're thinking about getting out of your job while you're at work to then hurry up because you have 2 hrs only in the evening before you need to go to sleep to do it all again.
And your $$$? You get paid what they think the job is worth and not based on the value you bring to the position, department and company.
Because your life is "job-centered" and not "dream-centered" you are enslaved; it's a perpetual cycle, "The Dance of The Job" that will go on for up to 30 -40 years unless if you do something about it and do it NOW!
You need a job, you want to work a job but do it purposefully and get the most amount of experience, develop great in skill-set and earn all money you can earn.
Choose a series of jobs, a collection if you will, as part of the plan that gets you to the place where you will eventually take the leap and fly in your dream!
If your job is not a stepping stone to the dream, may I suggest you change course so that you can be on the right path strategically and acquire the right experience that will make your dream come true.
You can also use the network marketing circuit to achieve your dreams because what you learn inside of the 4 walls of an office or cubical can never measure up to what you can learn, earn and grow outside of the corporate setting.
Why not get paid like the CEO of your company that you are NOW?
Network marketing affords that luxury and you will see results if you are with the right company, the right leadership and team!
Listen, why keep sacrificing your dream and vision for the "secure paycheck" when you can learn how to start your Plan B now and eventually make it your Plan A?
You'd be in charge of your time, your freedom, your $$$$ and your dream will come to pass if you are doing the work purposefully to make that happen and that generally starts with personal growth and changing your mind set.
My friend, go dream again and asses your life...
Is what you are doing now getting you what you really want in life?
Are you ready to stop "making a living" and ready to begin creating and
building your EXTRAORDINARY life?
Why Do The Same When You Can Go Beyond!
